French presses produce a more complex and superior flavor. It's coffee in its purest form.

Steps to a perfectly brewed cup of coffee

Our materials matter

Always use coarse ground coffee. 8 scoops for the 8 cup french press (espresso ground is too fine and will clog the filter)

Fill the carafe with very hot (not boiling) water into the carafe up to 1" below the metal band. Stir slowly until all the grounds are wet. Place the lid with the filter on the carafe without pushing down the plunger/filter.

Allow coffee to brew for 4 minutes. Press the plunger down slowly to filter the coffee.

Turn the mesh filter on the lid towards the pour spout, pour, enjoy. Dump the used grounds in garbage or compost.
