How to Brew Pour-Over Coffee
A classic borosilicate glass carafe with a wood collar and an optional high-precision stainless steel infuser. Brew 27oz of coffee effortlessly anytime you have fresh beans. Use Chemex paper or the permanent stainless steel filter. Cleanup is a snap, as all items are dishwasher safe. Works well with other items in the Lardera line, including scale & timer and smart electric kettle.
Place ground coffee inside the paper filter and evenly distribute.
Place carafe on scale and tare to zero.
Pour a small amount of water in a circular motion to wet all grounds. Allow expanding coffee to "bloom". This is de-gassing and will allow the fresh roasted coffee to brew properly.
After one minute, slowly pour more water in a circular motion from center to outer edge of grounds. Wait until water has dripped through and pour again until the desired scale reading.
